One of Char-Em ISD’s priorities is to support our local districts with regional and targeted professional development that is associated with district and school continuous improvement plans.

Improvement planning is a continuous and intentional process through which schools and districts review and analyze data, set goals for improvement, and make decisions about how these goals will be achieved. The ultimate objective of the improvement planning process is to improve student achievement levels.

Char-Em ISD has worked closely with Bruce Wellman and his Data Driven Dialogue Process that aligns with the Michigan Department of Education to provide our districts and schools with a consistent continuous improvement process.
