Char-Em ISD provides valuable assistance to our local school districts that in turn support students and families.

While many of the ISD’s programs serve students directly on a day-to-day business, others work “behind the scenes” to support learning. Business Services staff manage bookkeeping, payroll and other daily business needs not only for the ISD as an organization, but also for a number of local districts; the ISD’s technology team keeps many local districts’ technology and student reporting operations functioning seamlessly; communication services staff create eye-catching posters and materials for teachers to use in the classroom, while assisting districts with communications to parents and the community.

Tracking student enrollment data, providing bus driver transportation training, and delivering route mail among local districts and the ISD are other important daily activities handled by the Administrative Services departments.
