In the area of leadership, Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District provides services designed to support or strengthen administrative and leadership skills for current and future leaders. Additionally, Char-Em ISD continues to take an active leadership role in local, state and national legislative and legal initiatives.

Although not complete, services include:

• Leadership Learning Network (LLN) for current administrators
• Superintendent searches
• Advisement
• Initiate and expand cooperative initiatives
• Legislative monitoring and influence as it relates to school reform and finance
