Our Mission Statement

It is the mission of Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District to provide leadership and services to local school districts.

It is the vision of Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District to be an indispensable partner with every district we serve.

Char-Em ISD provides specialized transportation for students who attend a special education classroom operated by the intermediate school district. A transportation plan involving parents, support personnel (such as the occupational or physical therapist), and transportation staff is developed to ensure safe transportation for the student.
