Superintendent Koziol thanks Sen. Damoose for school budget efforts

Regional school administrators were present during this week’s negotiations in Lansing for the 2024-25 school year budget. Char-Em ISD Superintendent Scott Koziol noted his appreciation for the efforts and communication he experienced with Sen. John Damoose, who serves Michigan’s 37th District which includes Charlevoix, Emmet and Antrim counties, as well as several others.

“Sen. Damoose is one of the most accessible senators I’ve worked with over my many years in education. I want to publicly thank him and his office for their tireless efforts in bringing as many resources as possible to the students and communities of Northern Michigan,” Koziol said.
