Teaching through Making

Teaching Through Making invites K-12 art educators to explore how hands-on, multi-medium art making can deepen student engagement and learning. Through practical demonstrations and guided exploration, participants will experiment with a range of materials and processes adaptable across grade levels. The session emphasizes creative problem-solving, choice-based instruction, and meaningful connections between process and concept. Educators will leave with fresh strategies, classroom-ready ideas, and renewed inspiration for teaching through active making.
