New Teacher (Years 1-3) Academy 2025-26

This year-long cohort aims to empower 1st thru 3rd year educators by fostering collaboration, analyzing teaching techniques, sharing common struggles, co-developing potential solutions, promoting well-being, and providing personalized support. Participants will gain practical strategies to improve their teaching skill set, build confidence, and establish a strong system of support through synchronous meet-ups and 1:1 mini coaching sessions as requested.

Learner Outcomes

Have access to relevant and engaging professional development opportunities that address their specific needs and interests, such as classroom environment, student engagement, learning design, and teacher evaluations.

Be encouraged to engage in open dialogue, ensuring they feel heard and valued.

Receive professional development that models best practices to support strengthening their skillset, including earning State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs).

Have opportunities to strengthen their support networks through facilitated peer collaboration and conversation.

Receive individualized resources and 1:1 support as requested, recognizing that each new teacher’s needs are unique.
