Literacy & Math Leader Network

The Literacy & Math Leader Network is made possible through a partnership with the Michigan Elementary & Middle School Principals Association and the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators. This project will support school-wide literacy and math improvements based on practices that build collective capacity for continuous improvement, using a process rooted in a deep understanding of content and a systems-level change. Elementary principals and teacher leaders (school improvement/MICIP coordinators, MTSS coordinators, reading and math specialists, etc.) are encouraged to participate.

This collaborative effort will help build capacity and empower the role of building principals, as instructional leaders, and leadership teams, to create the organizational conditions necessary to boost the effectiveness of instruction and build the systemic support needed for improved teaching and learning.
