Essential Instructional Practices in Early Mathematics for Principals/Math Leaders 2024

This is an opportunity for principals and/or district math leaders to engage with the Essential Instructional Practices in Early Mathematics. Participants will learn about the values supporting the practices as well as think about how the organizational practices fit into their current systems to support effective classroom instruction in mathematics. During the session participants will dig deeper into the values of the essentials to experience how they might use the modules to provide learning for the teachers in their own districts. 

Learner Outcomes

Learn about the values and modules supporting the practices.
Understand the connection between teachers’ beliefs, values, and their math teacher identity and teaching practice.
Be equipped with facilitation materials and reflection around how they might use the modules to provide learning for teachers in their own districts.
