Leadership Learning Network (LLN) 2019-20
Morning Sessions (8:30am - 12:00pm)
The morning network meetings will provide administrators an opportunity to learn and grow in their capacity as a building/district leader. Learning priorities will include strategies for effectively preventing and responding to behavior challenges, ensuring success for students receiving intervention and supports, supporting mental wellness, and having tough conversations (evaluation and beyond.) These meeting will also include time to review department updates, network with colleagues, and reflect on current practices.
Afternoon Sessions (12:30pm - 3:30pm)
February 20 – cancelled
March 19 – Difficult Conversations with Jane Ellison (full day)
Jane will check in with the continued work on difficult conversations to provide extended learning and critical next steps to make the learning sustainable in practice.
May 21 – Career and College Readiness Resources
The CTE department will provide updates on programs, Career Tech to Careers Initiative, upcoming events, and walk through an Interactive Career and College Readiness resource/tool designed for students, parents, and school staff.
June 18 – School Improvement Team Work Time
Julie Bergmann will be available all day as a guide-on-the-side to district and/or building level school improvement teams who would like to spend all of the day or part of the day working at the ISD building on their 2020-21 improvement plans and/or reviewing data to help inform their plan.
