English Language Arts Collaborative 2020-21

This training is for middle and high school English Language Arts (ELA) teachers.  If you are looking to focus on the heart of WHY you became an educator, this is the learning network for you! Join fellow ELA teachers as we travel down a path that seeks to build collective efficacy and empowers us to meet the challenges we face in our classrooms. Research tells us that while learning tools and protocols can be helpful in our practice, we also need guidance and support from colleagues that will inspire and renew us. This year's professional text, Creating Confident Writers, is co-authored by Michigan educators Andy Schoenborn and Troy Hicks. It will be offered to all participants and used as a year-long "travel-guide" on our journey together.

The October session will be held virtually.  Participants will receive log-in information through email prior to the date of the virtual training. Participants are asked to register separately for each session they choose to attend.
