This is a half-day afternoon seminar following the morning LLN meeting for administrators interested in learning about how to create infrastructure and systems to support the use of data for decision-making at district, building, content area/grade level, and classroom levels.  Participants will learn about what data needs to be reviewed when and by whom; how to create and maintain data-focused teams; what effective action plans look like; and how to use DDD action plans to create and monitor continuous improvement plans.

Participants will:

  • Create a system and written plan for conducting data dialogues at the district, building, content/grade level, and classroom levels, that includes who will review which data and when.
  • Explore tools and strategies to maintain data-focused teams and keep the work of teams on track.
  • Construct a plan for helping teams create exemplary action plans as a result of data dialogues.
  • Learn how to use data dialogue action plans to inform and monitor school improvement plans and initiatives.
