DESCRIPTION:Science Network 2026-27\nJoin the Science Collaborative of Char-Em ISD, a collaborative effort amongst districts to improve the instructional practices of science educators. In these sessions, we will learn what others are doing to engage students in scientific thinking and emphasize the Science and Engineering Practices. Educators will dive into the SEPs to grow their instructional toolkit and walk away with resources to put into practice. Regardless of what curricular resource you have, grade level, or course you are teaching, these resources will be applicable to all as we support students across the ISD. A goal of this professional learning is to increase scientific literacy for all students through evidence-based instructional practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with other science educators in the ISD and learn from and with each other.\nThis is a two day series.
