is this service?
School psychologists serve students through testing,
individual and group counseling, family support
and crisis intervention. Additional services include
consultation with parents and school staff members,
and interpretation of various test results.
Who
do we serve?
Individuals from birth through age 26, as well
as parents, school personnel and community agencies.
How
do we serve?
School
psychologists apply both psychology and education
strategies to help solve individual and group problems.
The
school psychologist works to:
- identify
problems with learning
- help
set appropriate goals
- identify
resources available to help students
- use
tests or other data to develop appropriate strategies
for students who experience learning problems
- evaluate
student progress
