is this service?
A supportive service to local schools, parents
and communities to provide education, referral,
training and support for general early childhood
education, birth to age 8. It includes the operation
of a variety of programs within local districts,
technical assistance to local staff, and resource
and referral for families to local early childhood
and child care programs.

do we serve?
Children, birth to age 8, their families,
local schools and community members.
How
do we serve?
The
Early Education Consortium provides the following
services:
- operation
of the Be-Four Centers, Be-Four School Project
and Building Bridges programs in local districts
- management
of the Joining Forces Child Care Demonstration
Project
- preschool
recruitment in local districts
- referrals
for parents to local districts every spring
- assistance
with state and federal regulations in child
care and early childhood education
- assistance
in developing and funding general early childhood
education and child care programs
- early
childhood and school readiness information and
resources
