is this service?
Career preparation services to local schools,
businesses and families to provide education for
employment and workforce development. It includes
academic preparation, work site experience, career
counseling and partnerships between business and
education.
Who
do we serve?
All students in local schools (grades kindergarten
through twelve) within
the Char-Em ISD,
their families and business and industry throughout
the community.
How
do we serve?
Career
and Technical Education provides the following services:

assessment

counseling and area-wide career days
- program
planning including assistance in developing
vocational education
- assistance
with technology education
- vocational
and career resources
- job
development, placement and job coaching
- professional
development and teacher training
- assistance
with job shadowing, mentoring and business/industry
visits
- assistance
with state and federal regulations in Career
and Technical Education
