Parents should contact their local school administrator to schedule an evaluation to determine eligibility. Once the evaluation is complete, an Individualized Education Program (IEP) will be offered to determine eligibility for special education programs and services. Parents of registered nonpublic and home schools who decline an IEP may be offered a Nonpublic Service Plan to determine if ancillary services (i.e. speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, teacher consultant) are appropriate.
